documentary on detroit? >> i am an originally from the area. there was definitely a personal connection. i had never considered making a film in detroit, or one with any personal ties to myself. mike co-director and i started talking about a detroit in late 2008. things seemed to be getting worse. it was already bad in the 1980's. in lot of people i knew were leaving. in october of 2009 i came with my crew for three days just as an experiment and film in the city just as an outsider. talked to a few people. absolutely riveretted by the people and the plays. i thought there's definitely a movie here. we need to make a film in detroit. >> when impacted, i read your father had an impact on you watching him and his business over the years. >> that's right, my father is had a manufacturing company. he really like in the 1980s with the rise in japan had to innovate and come up with new ideas and making it difficult to create products. he started engineering complicated things that couldn't be replicated or stolen or easily made overseas. that's now his business arrived. i kind of h

francisco giants ruled the baseball world. they sweep the detroit tigers four games to none. and here is a live look from sky 7hd above san francisco where people have filled the streets celebrating the giants' second world championship in the last three years, as we said. again though you can see a fire burning there, a bonfire. earlier sky 7hd captured these pictures of the celebration turning dangerous in the mission district moments after the game ended. a crowd cheered as the bonfire you see grew a few feet from stores and apartments. the fire burned for several minutes before police riding dirt bikes moved in and cleared the crowd from the flames. and take a look at this bonfire at mission and 19th. sky 7hd caught people jumping into the flames and others were throwing gasoline creating some of the huge fireballs you saw. certainly some dangerous conditions out in parts of san francisco right now. and we do have live team coverage from detroit and around the bay area. we will get to the fan reaction in just a minute. but first, here is rick quan with highlights from tonight's incredi

detroit big winners last night. cbs 5 reporter anne makovec is over at at&t park where the giants won a pitcher's duel in game 2. it took a while to score but they finally did. >> reporter: that's right. it is the morning after another very exciting night here at at&t park. two down, two to go. things are going so well for the giants right now they may just sweep this thing in detroit. here's a look at one of the biggest plays of the night last night. prince fielder on first delmon young hits one by a diving panda at third. the ball then bounces off the wall and third base coach gene lamont decides to send fielder to the plate. but the relay from marco scutaro, fielder is out. the game stays scoreless until the 7th with the bases loaded until brandon crawford grounds into a double play hunter pence scoring to give the giants i 1- 0 lead. they added another run in the 8th and win 2-0 to take the series lead. bumgarner strikes out 8 without allowing a run. the giants now headed to detroit feeling solid. >> did feel different for you out there last night compared to the last two? >>
